New baby dog training is a great way to make sure your dog is ready for your new baby. Having a baby is stressful enough, your dog shouldn’t add to your stress.
We cover dog/baby parenting survival skills. We show you how to set up your home for safety with your new dog and baby. We freshen up your dog’s obedience skills or start from scratch if your dog has never had any training. And we also teach you how to recognize signs of stress in your dog to prevent problems in the first place.
New Baby Training Program
Our new baby dog training programs consist of 4 dog training lessons (in home if you live in our service area – Rehoboth, Lewes, Bethany and surround areas – or via Zoom if you live outside of this area), notes and handouts after each lessons, videos to keep dogs and kids safe together, support from your trainer between lessons, support from your trainer for 3 months after you complete your lessons, and an invitation to our private Facebook group where we post training tips and special offer only available to our clients. Lessons are spaced 1 week to 1 month apart, depending on your due date and how much training your dog needs to be successful with your new baby (the less training the dog needs, the more we space them out). If you need additional lessons after your baby arrives, we can add these to your program as well.
